Are you joining NATPE International in Budapest next week? Then don’t forget to look for Local Heroes, the Zoomin channel bringing engaging videos to the Hungarian capital.
Zoomin, the Amsterdam-headquartered digital venture famous for its short-form videos for a young Gen-Z audience, is making its debut this year at NATPE International, the biggest marketplace for video and TV formats in Eastern Europe. More than 600 producers and buyers of content from more than 70 countries, most of them from Central and Eastern European countries, come to the Hungarian capital from 25 to 27 June to do business.
“Our Local Heroes videos are inspiring stories about people who do something good for the world without aiming for their own benefit,” says Anouk van Dijk, Zoomin’s Head of Global Content. She and Mathias Zetsche, Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, will promote both the short-form Local Heroes and the long-form version; the first of the Gen-Z targeted long-form shows produced by Zoomin.
Van Dijk: “Eastern Europe is a new area for us. So, we are happy to be at NATPE next week, and meet as many potential partners as possible. I am convinced that both our short-form and long-form productions perfectly match the growing demand from the younger audience in Central and Eastern Europe for new, inspiring video, as we see in other parts of the world. With our video, we fill the gap that exists between traditional broadcasters and traditional publishers, who are both looking for the most suitable content for digital applications.
