Tiny Riot! Netherlands and Zoomin.TV launch international online music format, Continuum
The Dutch digital label of international producer FremantleMedia, Tiny Riot! Netherlands, and global media company Zoomin.TV, part of the leading international digital entertainment group MTG, are launching a new international online music format. Continuum brings together four YouTube stars from four different countries, who have never met each other, to create incredible pop music and tap into their fan bases to bring them together offline.
Continuum is the first format featuring an online band completely dependent on its fans whose engagement with the band’s videos and social activity will determine whether they will perform together in person. Each artist uploads split screen videos where they sing together virtually while asking the fans to get them to the milestone of 400,000 subscribers, triggering their first performance together on the same stage. The YouTubers – Sami, Sheffo, Joey and Jayden – are from the Netherlands, Italy, the US and Australia, respectively.
The band members will use their substantial existing global reach of over 1.5 million fans to kickstart the project. Everything – music and more – will be published on the Continuum YouTube channel. Content will include a weekly community video (eg: introducing the guys, seeing how they live, their daily rituals etc), a weekly music video, and monthly bonus content (eg: event-based content).

Targeting Generation Z – anyone born after 1996 – is a critical key to success in the digital landscape, according to Jan Riemens, CEO of Zoomin.TV. “I’m really excited to be partnering with FremantleMedia on this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind project,” Riemens adds. “We will provide extensive knowledge and talent in digital production and distribution, across all new and traditional platforms.”
Tiny Riot! Netherlands will work with their digital counterparts at FremantleMedia Italy, FremantleMedia North America and FremantleMedia Australia, as well Zoomin.TV’s international team, to support the project.
