Online pop-band gives fans novel way to say “I love you” this Valentine’s Day
Continuum, a burgeoning new boyband that’s taking the internet by storm, has offered its thousands of young fans a special way to express their love during these Valentine’s festivities. Fans are simply asked to submit a short video of themselves holding a message dedicated to the one they love, that will then be included in the band’s special Valentine’s Day music video, to be released February 14th. The video clips can be sent in via the band’s Facebook and Instagram pages, or through email and WhatsApp.
The music video is the band’s way of giving something back to the dedicated fans that they rely on so much. Situated all over the world and having never met each other in real life, the four members of Continuum are waiting to reach 400,000 online fans before seeing each other in person. This leaves the bands fate completely in the hands of their world-wide supporters. Currently the channel is growing rapidly and at the current pace the boys are set meet this summer already. They are nearing 100,000 fans on YouTube and Facebook combined, or 25% of their goal.
Joey (US), Sheffo (Italy), Jayden (Australia) and Sami (The Netherlands), are all successful singers and online stars in their own rights but, for each of them, Continuum presents the chance to spread their talents globally.
Having only launched on December 1st, the cheeky lads want to thank their fans for their success by including them in their music video – the medium through which their fans know them best. Itching to finally perform together, the band hopes that together with their fans, their latest song brings them that step closer to reaching their dream.
Continuum is the collaborative brainchild of media companies Zoomin.TV (MTG) and Tiny Riot!, the Dutch digital label of the global content company FremantleMedia. The Valentine’s Day submissions are open until February 12th and fans can submit their video messages via Facebook, Instagram, email or Whatsapp
